The University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) is a public research university located in Baltimore County, Maryland. It offers 61 specializations in 55 different programs, 70 minors and 36 certificate programs.

The UMBC Graduate School provides 38 master's degree programs, 25 doctoral programs, and 29 graduate certificate programs. The university is divided into three colleges, three schools and its graduate school. Johns Hopkins University is another great option for students in the Baltimore area.
